2023/24 FUFA Big League fixtures released


The FUFA Big League fixtures for the 2023/24 season have been released and it will start on Thursday, 21th September 2023.

Unlike the previous seasons, a full fixture was released with the new season expected to end in May just like the Startimes Uganda Premier League.

Matchday one will have Booma host Jinja North United FC on Thursday (Day 1), Police FC will host Young Elephants FC in Kavumba while Mbale Heroes will play Kataka FC.

The other games will see Ndejje University FC host Kaaro Karungi FC, Calvary FC will be up against Kigezi Home Boys, Kyetume will play Kiyinda Boyz while last season Uganda Premier League sides Onduparaka and Blacks Power FC will face each other.

With 15 Big League sides, one team will always have a rest on a game day and on match day one, it will be Lugazi FC who will host Ndejje on Matchday 2.

The competition was won by Kitara Football Club last season who gained automatic promotion to the UPL with NEC FC and Mbarara City FC being the other two.

While in the FUFA Big League, they were joined by Blacks Power FC and Onduparaka who were relegated to the Uganda Premier League .
