Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa, dropped their first points of the new season with a 1-0 loss to Mbale Heroes at the Mbale stadium on Sunday evening.

Former SC Villa player Cosia Waiswa scored the only goal of the game with a left footed, 85th minute free kick from the right side.

This victory meant that Mbale pick up their first points of the season after the 2-1 loss to Express at Nakivubo

In their next game, Mbale Heroes will be away to Wakiso Giants at the Kakaka Kyabaggu on Friday 27th September after SC Villa lock horns with BUL FC in Wankulukuku a day before.
