The Women’s National Basketball League playoff finals returns on Sunday evening at Lugogo Arena 7pm with game 6 and defending champions JKL Lady Dolphins are only a win away from retaining their title.

The final games against UCU Lady Canons are set to return following a postponement due to both finalists having players in the just concluded 3×3 World Cup in Mongolia.

JKL kept their title hopes alive after three consecutive wins, which following losses in both games one and two of the best of seven series.

“The break was much needed for us, we have worked on some of the issues we had in the past games especially on the offensive side.”

UCU will look to players like Shakirah Navumbya and Tracy Namugosa to revive the fire in the squad while JKL with bring on their experience in Evelyn Nakiyinji, Hope Akello, Flavia Flirsh Aketcho, Jane Asinde and Brenda Ekone to win their fourth NBL Championship.
