Uganda Dance Sport Federation (UDSF) is set for the second edition of the Breaking for Gold National Championships.
The Championship will be danced off on Sunday 3rd September at Lido Beach, Entebbe.
This edition will have 32 B-boys and 16 B-girls as they qualified from their respective regions.
All these dancers will battling for a slot at the WDSF World Breaking Championship in Leuven, Belgium, slated for September 23, 2023.
Barnabas Ssebuyungo, general secretary of the Uganda DanceSport Federation came out say that;
“This time round, the federation has decided to take the sport to the beach with the main goal of bringing dancesport to places where people can enjoy and get drawn to the sport”
And adds that, since it will be a Sunday and the students are on holidays, the sport will be at the beach with the aim of introducing it to a new audience”
Last year’s edition of the 2022 UDSF Breaking For Gold National Championship was taken home by Ronald Ndawula aka B-boy Ndawula.
