Uganda Cranes are set to take on the Taifa Stars in the first semi-final of the CECAFA Senior Challenge cup on Tuesday 17th December 2019 as Djibouti are sent home after being smashed 4-1 by the tournament hosts today at Startimes stadium Lugogo.

Muzamir Mutyaba opened up the scores in the 14th minute from a spot-kick after Abdoulkader Djama’s handled the ball inside the forbidden area, moments before ranting runner Joachim Ojera could double the lead in the 65th minute from off a well-calculated through-ball from Vipers’ midfielder Abdulkarim Watambala.

Djibouti pulled one back quickly through Haroun Mohamed in the 69th minute to raise the hopes of the ‘Shore-men of the Red Sea.’
