StarTimes UPL: Express seeking first away win with visit to URA

Six time Uganda Premier League Champions Express FC will visit the Arena of visions Stadium, Ndejje on Sunday evening, seeking for their first away league victory of the 2020/21 StarTimes UPL season.

The Red Eagles who are unbeaten in their last five games have won only two and drawn one at Wankulukuku, but have not won any of their two away games, drawing 1-all with both Mbarara City and Onduparaka FC.

Today as they visit Ndejje University’s Arena of Visions, URA FC stands in theur way as a side that is still unbeaten since the season began, having garnered 11 points from their opening five games.

After drawing their first two games, the Sam Simbwa coached side picked up three consecutive wins (SC Villa, BUL and KCCA) before the league broke off in December for the CHAN preparations.

After drawing with  Vipers at home on Tuesday, Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa will hope his side can return to winning ways in a bid to close in on current leaders Police FC.

Sam Simbwa will be hoping his side can continue with their winning momentum to defeat the third traditional giant in less than four game weeks, with a run on Sunday evening taking his side level on points with Vipers SC on 14 points.

Both Express FC and URA FC have squared off 22 times and the Tax Collectors have won almost half of them, 10 wins out of the 22 while the Red Eagles have managed only two.

Last season, the Tax Collectors took four points off Express including a 2-1 win at Wankulukuku.
