The Federation of Uganda Basketball Association ( FUBA) has announced the kick off date for all the local basketball leagues in Uganda.

All local basketball leagues under FUBA are set to kick-off on April 2nd 2021 and will be played behind closed doors in observation of the Standard Operation procedure set up by the Ministry of Health to curb the Coronavirus pandemic.

Before the kickoff  in April, teams will be required to confirm their participation before 28th February 2021 and after that, they will have to complete the registration of their teams by 15th March 2021.

Furthermore, FUBA has confirmed that Regular season will be played in one round format while the playoffs, quarter-finals and Semi-finals will be played on the best of 3 series format.

The finals of both the men’s and women’s team will be a best of five series.

Given the fact that fans won’t be allowed in Stadia, FUBA has also revealed that it will stream live the game on its different social media platforms so that fans can have a feel on what’s happening on game days.
