Days after naming a 35-man provisional Uganda Cranes squad, head coach Milutin Sredejovic has called upon Nelson Ssenkatuka to join the team that start preparations for the forthcoming CHAN tournament.
This development was confirmed by FUFA this morning.

The Bright Stars striker has proved his importance to the side after he went on to assist to Emmanuel Peter Loki as Bright Stars edged KCCA at Kavumba on Tuesday.
Ssenkatuka has so far scored 7 goals in the Startimes Uganda Premier League this season, level with Maroons’ Amaku and Milutin alias Micho will hope he can replicate the same at national stage.
The team started training on Thursday morning at Lugogo.
The CHAN tournament being prepared for will start on 13th January 2023 in Algeria with Uganda are put in Group B alongside Ivory Coast, DR Congo and Senegal.
