In the first match, Mukono Warriors batted first after winning the toss, but Soroti City’s clinical bowling restricted them to 75 all out in 17.1 overs.

Dharmir Patel top-scored for Mukono with 23 off 27 balls, while Fenil Patel added 12 off 11.

Derrick Bakunzi led Soroti City’s bowling attack with 3 wickets, supported by Malinga Jacob and Kiza Jonathan, who took 2 wickets each.

In the second match, Soroti City’s captain, Ebulu Ronald, won the toss and chose to bat first.

Soroti City’s batters shone, with contributions from Juma Sururu (27), Derrick Bakunzi (30), Ogwang Wilfred (24), and Ochen Peter (22), setting a total of 135/6 in 20 overs.

Despite Hemanat Hiran’s 3 for 22 in 4 overs for Mukono, it wasn’t enough.

With the bat, Jignesh Vekariya stood out for Mukono, but Malinga Jacob’s 5-wicket haul, the highest by an individual this season, disrupted their batting lineup.

His performance earned him the match ball.

Their next match is on July 27th at Lugogo Cricket Oval against Avengers Cricket Club.
