SC Villa have strengthened their attacking department with the signing of proven striker Isaac Gumperom from FUFA Big League side Young Elephants Academy.
The forward arrives at Villa Park after a sensational 2025/26 campaign in which he finished as the FUFA Big League’s top scorer with 17 goals, establishing himself as one of the most prolific forwards outside the Uganda Premier League.
The record league champions confirmed the transfer on Tuesday, adding another attacking option as they continue rebuilding their squad ahead of the new season.
Gumperom’s arrival comes at a crucial time for the Jogoos following the departures of Charles Lwanga and Hassan Mubiru, with the club looking to replenish their firepower up front.
He becomes SC Villa’s second signing of the current transfer window after midfielder John Innocent Asiimwe joined from Express FC.
Villa will be hoping the striker can quickly adapt to life in the Uganda Premier League and translate his remarkable goalscoring form into the top flight as the club aims to mount a serious challenge against Vipers SC and KCCA FC for domestic honours in the 2026/27 season.
