Rugby: Uganda Rugby 7s to take part in the Emirates Invitational Sevens

The Uganda Rugby 7s have been invited to take part in the upcoming Emirates Invitational Sevens in Dubai.

Tolbert Onyango’s side is among the fourteen rugby nations( 8 men and 6 women) that have selected by the organizer of the Emirates Dubai 7s to participate in the Olympic preparation event at The Sevens Stadium, the home of the Emirates Dubai 7s which houses 8 rugby pitches.

The other men’s nations include Japan, Canada, Kenya, Spain, France, Argentina and Chile.

The Emirates Invitational 7s is a competitive training camp that includes two tournament weekends for some of the best rugby sevens teams in the world and it’s aimed at supporting the teams in their preparation for the Tokyo Olympics.

The two weeks training camp will take place between March 26th (when the nations arrive and move into Bio-bubbles) and April 11th.
