Rugby : Mubiru retires after 20 year old career

Days after winning the 8th Uganda Cup, Rugby Cranes and Heathens hooker Alex Mubiru has officially hang up his playing boots.

Mubiru who has been a one man team throughout his playing career has shown loyalty, leadership, commitment as well. He was labeled as the best hooker the Pearl of Africa has ever had.

All his hardwork and discipline has got him a couple of appearances on both the national 7s and 15’s team playing 52 tests.

He finishes his career as both a Uganda Cup and Rugby League winner. It is left to see who will don the No.2 jersey that he made his own for Heathens and Uganda Rugby Cranes.
