New season of the FUFA Beach Soccer League is set to tip off

The 2022/23 edition of FUFA Beach Soccer League is set to return late early this year in January with eleven teams.

The campaign will start on Sunday 22nd January, 2023 and end in June. It will be played in a round robin system however much the fixtures are yet to be released.

At the end, the four teams that lead the table in regular season will be subjected to play offs to choose finalists and later on a winner. 

The rest of the teams will play classification games to see which team takes up which position ouy of the eleven.

Teams in this year’s League;

Ms Sand Lions, Buganda Royal Institute, Kiringente BSC, Mutoola BSC, KIU BSC, St. Lawrence University, Jinja Lions BSC , MUBS, Grace Church, Wolves BSC , Kampala Junior Team (KJT).

Venues to be used;

Mutoola Resort Beach, FUFA technical center beach soccer arena, Samachi beach in Busabala and Lido beach in Entebbe.

St Lawrence University are the record winners with four titles, winning three on the trot in the last three seasons (2013/14, 2018/19, 2020/21 and 2021/22)
