The Cops are unbeaten in their opening three, drawing their first against Wakiso Giants and winning the next two against MYDA FC and Kitara FC.
Busoga on the other hand, are winless since the 2020/21 season began, having lost their opening two before picking up their first point against Kyetume in their last match.
Speaking after the team’s last training, Police FC head coach said he expects a tough contest on Tuesday;
“We are well prepared for the opponents, they are tough and they have always challenged us. It’s not going to be easy but I hope and pray we get the result we want.”
Meanwhile, Fred Lumu, the Busoga United’s assistant coach is upbeat the Jinja based side will pick up their first win.
” We have tried to rectify the mistakes we did in our last game and I believe we are 100% set for tomorrow’s game.”
“Although Police did some wonderful recruitment in the transfers and have started the season well, we believe that we get our first maximum points.”
Police are third on the log with seven points while Busoga United are 13th with just a point.
This will be the eighth meeting between these two sides and Busoga United holds the advantage of having won four of the seven so far played.
Busoga United won the last meeting between the two sides last season, a 2-1 at the Mighty Arena, Jinja.
