SC Villa head coach Dusan Stonjanovic was named the Pilsner coach of match for April/May at the Kati Kati restaurant, Lugogo.
The Serbian tactician won five matches out of the six of match day 25-30 out shining Bul fc’s Abbey Kikomeko and Kitara FC’s Brian Sseyondo.
The Jogoos defeated UPDF, Wakiso Giants, URA, Gadafi fc and NEC losing only to KCCA at the Mandela national stadium, Namboole on 1st May.
The April/May results also helped the Jogoos win the seventeenth league title, the first since 2004.
The award was also the third for the Villa boss in his debut season in the star Times Uganda premier league having earlier won for November 2023 and March/April 2024.
On the other side, amidst the struggles and relegation at Busoga United, forward Emmanuel Ajo clinched the April/May player of the month.
Ajo scored four goals in six matches helping him out compete Vipers’ captain, Milton Karisa and Kitara’s Denis Omedi.
They both received accolades and a sum of one million Uganda shillings. SC Villa coach Stonjanovic who went for a vacation was represented by their club Chief Executive Officer, William Nkemba.
