SC Villa forward Charles Bbaale and Express FC head coach James Odoch are the Pilsner Uganda Premier League player and coach of the month of April respectively.
The duo were announced and awarded as winners on Thursday evening during a glamorous event held at Kati Kati Restaurant, Lugogo.
Bbaale scored five goals in April – he scored against Bright Stars,KCCA and Vipers and Wakiso Giants. He only failed to score against Arua Hill.
He beat off competition from Arua Hill’s Innocent Media and Wakiso Giants’ Shariph Kimbowa.
Odoch meanwhile helped Express go unbeaten in month of April to beat off Vipers’ Alex Isabirye and SC Villa’ Jackson Magera. Express played four games, won two and drew two.
Odoch and Bbaale took home a plaque and Shs.1m from League sponsors Pilsner Lager.
