Kobs win their first title in the 2022 Nile Special Rugby 7’s series as they clinch the Rujumba 7’s at the King Park Arena, Bweyogerere on Sunday.
The Kampala Old Boys won the final game of the two day circuit 10-7 beating the last two consecutive winner of the Entebbe and Arua consecutively.
This was the fourth circuit of the 2022 Nile Special Rugby Sevens Series after the Wakiso, Entebbe and Arua sevens’ circuits. On the day the Legends based side played six games, won six and scooped 123 points conceding twenty-four (24).
This is the first time Heathens have lost a final at the ongoing Nile Special Rugby series.
Osuna was also named Most Valuable Player for his outstanding performances on the day that pushed Kobs on top of the Log.

The teams will have a rest at the weekend and come back in action on September 15th for the Fort Portal Sevens.
After four series, Heathens are still on top of the Log with 75 points to top the series standings and Jinja Hippos come in second followed by Pirates and Toyota Buffaloes.
