Baby Victoria Pearl’s, Uganda U-19 girls who are representing the country at the T20 ICC under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier 2022 in Gaborone, Botswana eye top spot after they qualified for the semifinals at the mini-qualification tournament

This comes after Uganda won against Sierra Leone by 23 runs with a score of [Uganda 107/4 |Sierra Leone 84/5] the win follows a 4-wicket opening win against Namibia on Saturday something that pushes the team to the semifinals in the group of four(4).

Now Uganda put all their focus into their next and final group game on Tuesday as they will face hosts Botswana where they will hope to win to secure the group top spot.

Uganda will hope to start at the front foot to prevent a very slow start out of the blocks as it was against Sierra Leone when they lost opener.

The girls who have impressed for team Uganda especially in the Previous games in Sandra Achawo and Patricia Timong will continue to be of help as the team progresses.

Out of the group of four the two groups, only two sides from each will qualify for the semifinal.

The only single converted spot to the World Cup will be taken up by the winner of the tournament.
