Namilyango College won it’s 12th schools title after a 5-28 humiliating win against St Mary’s college Kisubi (SMACK) in the U20 at a fully packed Makerere Rugby grounds famously known as the Graveyard on Sunday.

Under the early downpour, SMACK defeated King’s College Budo in both U15 and U17 finals respectively .

When the skies brightened, Namilyango boys shined brighter with two first half penalties from their star man Job Wembabazi who got them off to a great start.

SMACK had their chances especially in the second half but lacked the cutting edge to punish the “Ngonians” who limited them to an unconverted try in the second half where Job who is also the reigning USSSA schools Rugby MVP continued to impress with two conversations and a penalty totaling 13 of the 28 points his team scored.

With the result put out after the final whistle the boys from Kisubi knew this wasn’t the day to add onto their trophy cabin thus staying at three (3) titles.

The victory was celebrated by proud ‘Ngonians’ notably the Rugby Cranes Captain Ivan Magomu who cheered on his Old Boys.
