Neiva announced as new Vipers gaffer

A week after the departure of Alex Isabirye the speculation has been shutdown in Kitende as Vipers SC have appointed new head coach, Brazilian Leonard Martins Neiva.

Leo Neiva as popularly known has signed a two year employment contract with the Venoms.

The 45 year old, has managed both at Country and Club level in 3/4 of the world.

He started as an assistant coach at America CF in Rio de Janeiro went on to move to South Africa’s Platinum Stars as academy coach.

Later on, moved back to Brazil to lead Bonsucesso-RJ and Yadanarborn FC then Rakhine United .

Another team that he coached in Brazil was Associacao Atletica Francana where he left to head back to Africa to Yanga in 2014 where he scopped both the Super Cup and the Tanzania Premier League in the 2014/15 season.

With a description of a journey man in 2016 the Brazilian was once head coach of Jamaican side Montego Bay United leading them to the national championship victory in the same year.
