Nantongo included in Danish Club squad

Right after days of atmost speculation, Crested Cranes defender Aisha Nantongo has been included in the squad for Denmark club AaB Kvinde Elitefodbold ahead of the 2023/2024 Women’s League. 

The efficient Nantongo who has been training with Aalborg BK since Aujust joins the Danish first-division side on a two-year employment contract.

She has recently been playing for Kawempe Muslims WFC since her toddler stage impressing to an extent of featuring for the Crested Cranes at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations journey in Morocco.

Nantongo will be third Ugandan player after Vanessa Edith Karungi, (FC Nordsjaelland) and Phiona Nabbumba, ( B93 FC in Denmark) to ply her trade in Denmark.
