MYDA Vs Onduparaka FC Preview: a meet of two sides looking to bounce back from a disappointing matchday 2

MYDA FC takes on Onduparaka FC

MYDA FC and Onduparaka will both be looking to bounce back from disappointing defeats last time out when they meet at King George IV Memorial Stadium, Tororo.

The Malaba based side went down 3-1 to Police FC in their first StarTimes UPL home game, while the Caterpillars were thrashed 8-0 by Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) in their most recent outing at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Only one point separates the two sides heading into Friday’s game but MYDA has played a game less compared to their opponents. Onduparaka sits 13th on the log with a point while MYDA sits in bottom 3 with no point garnered so far.

MYDA coach Dada Musafiri will bank on last season’s FUFA Big League topscorer Ibra Nsimbe, and Experienced Norman Ogiki to find goals for his team, while the Onduparaka team that drew 1-all with 10-men Express FC on matchday one, is a new look side from one that finished eighth last season.

This will be the first meeting between these two sides in any competition since this is MYDA’s first season in the top flight.
