Maroons, URA draw for fifth consecutive time

Prisons club, Maroons and the Tax collectors, URA FC have drawn for fifth consecutive time in a game played the Luzira Prisons grounds after the two sides played out to a 1-all draw on Friday evening with the 2 goals of the game coming late in the game.

Youngster Darius Ojok scored a header in the 93rd minute of the game to cancel out the Emmanuel Okech opener in the 86th minute.

Okech came off the bench to score following Joshua Lubwama’s well-curled cross to put URA ahead with just four minutes left to go.

But with the game appearing to end in a tax collectors victory, Ojok nodded Solomon Walusimbi’s cross into the corner to help secure a point for Maroons.

Apart from those two goals, the game was cagey as both sides struggled to create enough goals coring chances.

Having drawn two consecutive games, Maroons remain seventh on the log with eight points.

While URA, who have drawn their thief consecutive game are sixth with nine points.

Maroons will travel to high-flying Kitara next while URA will take on BUL.
