Lady Cranes 7s squad named ahead of Rugby Africa Women’s Cup

The Uganda Rugby Union announced a final squad of 12 players who will represent Uganda in the 2023 Rugby Africa Women’s Cup in Tunisia.

The tournament is set to start on 14th and climax on Sunday 15th October 2023. It will act as a qualifier for the Paris 2024 Olympics in France with a sole spot exclusively available for the tournament champion.

Uganda is placed in Pool A with South Africa, Tunisia and Zimbabwe. The Pearl of Africa’s first game is against Tunisia on the 14th.

Pool B has Madagascar, Kenya, Zambia and Ghana.

From the 15 players who have been in training, below are the 12 that made the final squad:
