KCCA FC: Kasasiro Boys part ways with Mike Mutebi

Kampala Capital City Authority ( KCCA) FC have parted ways with manager Mike Hillary Mutebi.

The development was confirmed on Monday evening by the board Secretary in a press release circulated by the club.

” KCCA FC and the Manager, Mike Hillary Mutebi have today, the 29th of March 2021 agreed by mutual consent to terminate his employment with immediate effect.” Part of the release read.

Mike Mutebi leaves the club as the most successful manager in the club’s history after  guarding them to three league titles, two Uganda Cup titles, Four FUFA Super Cup and one CECAFA Clubs Cup in his five years at the club.

The club  has further also confirmed the appointment of  Morley Byekwaso as interim first team manager. Byekwaso has been Mutebi’s assistant for the past three years and was the head of the Uganda Hippos team that performed miracles at the U20 AFCON finals in Mauritania.

KCCA sits fourth on the log with 27 points garnered after the first round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier league.
