Kyetume FC Technical Director Jackson ‘Mia Mia’ Mayanja says he has no problem with Livingstone Mbabazi being the head coach of the Mukono-based side.

Mbabazi was recently reported saying that there are top officials who are against the progress of the club and needed him out.

But Mayanja, who once served as the head coach at Kyetume with Allan Kabonge and oversaw their promotion from the FUFA Big League, says he holds a good relationship with Mbabazi.

“Those rumours that I was fighting Mbabazi were false,” Mayanja told The Touchline Sports before adding,

“I don’t have any problem with Mbabazi because am the one who recommended the club board to sign him up because he was a very good coach.”

“I don’t see any problem at the club, no one is fighting Mbabazi and he has all the powers on his team including signing all the players he wants to use on the team.”

Kyetume sits 5th on the Uganda Premier league log having garnered nine points in their opening five games this season.

Furthermore, the  Slaughterers, who have been hosting their league games at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru will be hoping to use their venue in Nakisunga when the league resumes.

This comes following reports that their dressing rooms are nearing completion and could be ready by the time the league resumes.
