Ismail Dhakaba Kigongo: iconic sports journalist appointed Head of Sports at NMG

Iconic sports journalist Ismail Dhakaba Kigongo has been handed a new role  at Nation Media Group( NMG)

Having left the media company in 2018 to take up a lucrative role at National Council of Sports (NCS) as their head of Communication, Dhakaba has returned to NMG as the company’s head of Sports.

Dhakaba also embarked in Politics and tried to stand in Bugweri District as a Member of Parliament (MP) but failed to make it past the FDC Party primaries.

National Media Group  is the owner of National Television ( NTV), Daily Monitor KFM, Dembe FC and Spark TV.
