FWSL: Rines win their first game of the season, Queens maintain perfect start

Rines SS WFC got their first win of the campaign after stunning Makerere University WFC 1-2 on Saturday morning at the Makerere University Grounds.

Two goals from Yasmeen Nalukwago and Phiona Arachi helped the Bright Nyanzi coached side lift the spirits of the other players so that they can keep their 2-1 win intact.

On the other side the consolation goal for the University Ladies was scored their captain Josephine Ndagire who was returning from suspension after getting a red card in the game against Kampala Queens.

Kampala Queens kept their perfect start to the season with a 100 percent record with a sixth straight win against Olila High School, making it 6 in 6.

The game played on Sunday at a neutral ground, FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru and two first half goals from Resty Nanziri and Zaina Nandede were enough for the Queens to stay top of the Log.
