Futsal Super League: KJT end Park’s unbeaten run


KJT ended Park’s lengthy unbeaten run in breathtaking fashion after thrashing the defending champions 3-0 at Old Kampala Arena on Saturday.

KJT were superb against Park and collected a massive and deserved victory courtesy of Abasi Kyeyune, Maawiya Abdallah and Billy Nkata’s goals.

That victory marks the first time Park have lost any game this season, having won seven of their opening 10 games.

Also that victory, coupled with their second victory on the day over Talent Bridge (4-3) takes KJT join-top with Park FC, who are both tied on 27 points with two games left to play.

Nkata netted three of KJT’s goals against Talent Bridge.

Despite losing their first game of the day to KJT, League talisman Abasi Muluya Junior netted four times as Park bounced back in the evening to defeat a spirited Luzira FC side 7-5.

ASKA was the team of the game week as they recorded double victories. They defeated Kabowa Dream 6-4 before humbling Kisenyi FC by the same scoreline.
