Uganda Matyrs Lubaga Women Football Club will host defending Champions She Corporate at the St Gerald grounds, Lubaga on Saturday.
The Lubaga side who finished third on the Log in the previous campaign hold a 100 percent record this season after winning all the two games they have played[ against Rines SS and Asubo Gafford Ladies].
Speaking to their assistant coach Ssaka John, he says expects his players to get a win since his team is playing at home;
Playing against the defending champions is always difficult but what to expect from our players is to get a win since we are at home and the girls are in shape, committed and focused on winning the game.
We also expect our fans to turn up in big numbers because when they are here, the girls are really motivated and can do much better
In the previous game, we had issues to do with defending but the technical team has worked so hard and we have been working on the organisation and transition which we think will help in the game.
On the other side, they play a wounded She Corporate team that has not won a game in the two they have played.
The Sharks who are the reigning champions expected to blaze the season starting off with a win but didn’t go as many thought it would.
One would lay it on the weather conditions and conditions of the playing surface but it is believed that they have got experienced players all around the team like their Captain Naume Nagadya, Phionah Nabbumba, Spencer Nakacwa among others who can lift this team up on the day.
