The FUFA Disciplinary Panel (FDP) banned three Express FC football fans over hooliganism.
The following incidents occurred during and after the StarTimes Uganda premier league match between UPD FC and Express FC played last month in Bombo.
The individuals who are currently labeled hooligans were known as Mukenya Noah, Zimula Sulaiman and Nkata Abasi were banned out from the football competitions for two years.
In a statement released by FUFA, Express FC offered and fully cooperated in the investigations to identify the individuals that acted in animosity against the day’s assistant referee Fahad Sekayuba leaving him in a critical condition.
However Express FC were directed to publish the above sanction on all their digital media platforms and at their home stadium with clear pictures within 48 hours from receipt of this decision.
The other directive stated was that Express will have to fully cooperate with any authority whenever called upon and to ensure full implementation of this decision as stipulated herein above failure of which, the FDP shall sanction the club.
