The January ForteBet Real stars awards were held at the Route 256 in Lugogo on Tuesday morning.
The awards which were put together by the Real stars sports agency, sponsored by ForteBet and Jude Colour solutions.
This is the first time there is no football among the Categories with fifteen athletes nominated under five sports disciplines Motorcross, Boxing, Cricket, Rugby and Pool.
The event, started with the awarding of the best Player January in Cricket which had three nominees but Daniel Lutaaya, the most outstanding Player of the T20 Waterfalls tournament taking home the award beating Joan Mbabazi and Proscovia Alako of Bujjagali.
For Boxing Shadir Musa Bwogi who won the National Super Middleweight Title came out on top to win the award over Aziz Ssebulime and Yusuf Babu.

MX125 Champion at Garuga Race Track Waleed Omar stood out among her fellows, Miguel Katende and Wazir Omar to win the award In Motocross.
For Rugby Aaron Ofoyrwoth, winner of the Uganda Cup with Platinum Credit Heathens and off fellow Uganda Cup finalist Ivan Magomu of Black Pirates were beaten to the award by Henry Nsekuye of Makerere Impis who has started off the season on fire with two man of the match accolades.

In Pool Rashidah Muteesi won this month’s award to become the first in a long period of time. She beat Rukia Naiga and Ibrahim Sejjemba.
The next awards will be held at the beginning of next month.
