Farouk Miya : Star to miss Konyaspor’s crucial clash against Trabzonspor

Farouk Miya will miss Konyaspor’s crucial away clash against Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super ligue at the Medical Park Stadiumu, Trabzon on Sunday evening.

The Attacking Midfielder picked up his fourth yellow card of the season when he handled the ball in his side’s 4-3 win over top-placed İstanbul Başakşehir on Monday evening, making him ineligible to feature in the club’s next game against second placed Trabzonspor.

Earlier on in the season, the 22-year old had been cautioned against Göztepe, Fenerbahce and Gaziantep FK.

Miya has been involved in 9 of Konyaspor 30 goals this season (8 goals and an assist) in the league and will be a big absence in Trabzon when his side continues its fight against relegation. Serbian Marko Jevtovic is expected to come in for the Suspended Miya.

Konyaspor sits 14th on the log with 33 points, one above the relegation line with only two games to the death of the season.
