Express FC: Betway Uganda renews mukwano gw’abangi sponsorship

Express FC has announced the renewal of its sponsorship partnership with online sports betting company Betway Uganda.

Betway who became the Red Eagle’s headline sponsor in 2018, will extend their sponsorship to the club for at least another year.

The Red Eagles are set to receive Shs. 420m for the upcoming 2020/21 season.

“Our decision to extend the Express FC sponsorship contract is an indication of our faith in the club,” Betway Uganda Country Manager Adella Agaba said before adding that;

“We aim to continue to work to transform Express FC with the goal of making the club a title contender in the coming years.”

“I believe that the Shs. 420m will continue to see express grow better. We do believe in sports development and I look forward to a better friendship.”

The partnership will see Betway once again take up the naming rights of the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku and procure matchday, travel, and training kits as well for the six-time Uganda Premier League champions.

Furthermore, Betway has pledged to hand Express FC Shs. 500,000 for every away win next season.

Betway Uganda remains one of the club’s sponsors alongside MSL Logistics, and cab company Spesho among others.

Will this help Express FC battle for next season’s StarTimes Uganda Premier League with champions Vipers, runners-up KCCA FC, and third-placed Villa?
