Emmanuel Wasswa: midfielder completes KCCA switch

Central midfielder Emmanuel Alex Wasswa has completed a switch to Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC).

The former SC Villa player has penned down a three year employment contract with the Kasasiro Boys.

Wasswa started his senior footballing career at four-time UPL champions, Vipers SC before he switched to Ndejje University.

He joined SC Villa in 2019 and has been a mainstay for the sixteen-time UPL winners and captained the team in the absence of Asuman Harishe.

On Monday, 26th May, Villa announced the player’s departure via their official Social media platforms after agreeing to terminate his contact that had a year left on mutual consent.

At KCCA, He is expected to battle for a starting place with Gift Ali and Ashraf Mugume.

He becomes the second player to be signed by the Kasasiro Boys this window after Brian Majwega was confirmed on Sunday.
