A 2-1 win of Busoga United against Wakiso Giants at the FUFA technical center, Njeru moved them out of the relegation zone.

From a penalty kick, Emmanuel Ajo put the hosts in the lead in the 16th minute before Kenneth Kimera levelled matters three minutes later.

Nine minutes into the final whistle, substitute Bashamu Mugwa found the back of the net for the Busoga side which turned out to be the wining goal.

Mugwa came onto the pitch in the 50th minute to replace Simon Ogama Ngor eventually helping his side secure their fifth win of the season.

Busoga United with 21 points find themselves in the 13th position, 2 points above relegation positioned Gaddafi FC.

At 26 points, John Luyinda coached side, Wakiso side stay in the 12th position, 7 points above the relegation zone.

The Purple sharks host Gadafi in their next league fixture on 2nd May while Busoga United will travel to Wankulukuku to play Express on 5th May.
