Denis Otim says he expects to use his move to Uganda Premier league side Express FC as a springboard to further his career.
The 20-year old joins the Red Eagles on a four-year contract and becomes the club’s second signing in a week after another goalie, Cryspus Kusima was snapped up on Monday evening from relegated Tooro United.
“I have joined the Red Eagles because it’s a big club in the country and I expect to use it as a springboard to further my career” Otim told the club website.
Otim who previously played for Mbarara City and Nyamityobora FC, was part of the Uganda Hippos team that reached the quarterfinals of the CECAFA U20 tournament held in Uganda.
Last season, Express FC finished 9th on the 16-team log with 31points garnered in 25 games as the league was prematurely halted due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
