Former SC Villa midfielder David Owori has completed his move to Spanish fourth tier side Velez FC.
The 22-year old joins the Malaga based side from SC Villa on a one-year deal until the end of the 2021/22 season.
The dynamic midfielder played almost all games for the Jogoos last season and scored 3 goals (against Wakiso giants, BUL FC, and Mbarara City) and assisted 4 times – no wonder many believe he was the fulcrum for Villa’s resurgence last season (from a relegation-threatened team to almost a title contender).
Velez sit top of group 9 group B of Tercera División with 34 points garnered in 17 games.
