Cricket Cranes flagged off to Nairobi for Inaugural T20 Continent Cup

The Cricket Cranes have been flagged off for the inaugural edition of the Continent Cup T20 that will be held in Nairobi.

The tournament will start on June 7th and end on 21st featuring five nations in hosts Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Botswana.

The 14 man will be led by Brian Masaba and include youngsters Cyrus Kakuru and Pascal Murungi who will check themselves ahead of the T20 World Cup Qualifiers.

After the team was flagged off we had brief talk with the Men’s team Head Coach Lawrence Mahatlane about team;

“As a team we haven’t played T20 matches for over six months and we have prepared really well and hopefully hit the ground running” he said

“We want to make sure we build momentum as we build up to the upcoming World Cup qualifiers “ he added

“About the pressure as I always say it’s a previllage when u represent 44 million people you have to wear your heart on your sleeve with pride and joy” he concluded
