Anitah Namata: Former She Corporate midfielder joins Kampala Queens

Former She Corporate midfielder Anitah Namata has joined Kampala Queens on a one year contract from Kenya’s Vihiga Queens.

Namata was officially unvieled on Wednesday, 10th January 2024 by the Kabojja based entity.

“Welcome to the palace Anita Namata.”

“Namata joins us from FKF Women Premier League side Vihiga Queens on a one year contract deal. .” a statement from the club read.

Namata, 21, joins the reigning FUFA Women Super League champions after a season at Vihiga Queens.

After joining the club Namata came out to say that she is excited to join the Club;

“I am excited to join Kampala Queens, despite joining in the middle of the season my target is to be the MVP and topscorer.”

“I chose the Queens of Soccer because they are the defending Champions I want to improve on my achievements and get a team in Europe”

She had earlier played at Kawempe Muslim Women Football Club after completing her Advanced level of education.

The versatile midfielder is a former player of Kawempe Muslim, Uganda Martyrs and She Corporate.
