Former Arua Hill SC forward Alfred Leku has completed his move to Zambia Super League side Zesco United.
Leku, who has been a free agent after having failed to agree a contract extension at Arua based side has put pen to paper on a one year deal with the Zambian Giants.
Leku signed a two-year employment contract with the Kongolo in 2020 and it expired at the end of last season.
He finished last season as Arua Hill’s topscorer with 11 league goals netted in 27 games. Leku also assisted his teammates four times.
The physically well built player has previously featured at Vipers SC, Express FC, Proline FC, Botswana’s Jwaneng Galaxy FC and Extension Gunners.
Leku will be teammates with Keziron Kizito, who joined Zesco United from Buildcon FC in this current window.
Zesco United have won the Zambia Super League nine times in their history and are one of only 3 Zambian clubs including Nkana and Green Buffaloes who hold an all time unbeaten home record against non Zambian opposition.
