Vipers SC striker Yunus Sentamu has not made it to the final list of nominees for the Airtel FUFA Player of the year.
This was confirmed on Wednesday morning after the final three nominees were announced by FUFA.
Ssentamu finished last season as the StarTimes Uganda Premier League top scorer and is currently second on the scoring charts this season with four goals.
He also have a stellar performance in the Stanbic Uganda Cup, which was coupled by scoring four goals in the final against BUL.
Apart from Ssentamu, URA FC captain Shafik Kagimu has also not the made the cut.
The final three include Vipers duo of Bobosi Byaruhanga and Abdul Aziz Kayondo plus Eric Kenzo Kambale of Express FC.
Eric Kambale helped Express win both the StarTimes Uganda Premier League and CECAFA Kagame Cup. He was also second best top scorer, netting 15 goals in the league, just one behind Sentamu.
Bobosi and Kayondo helped Vipers win the Uganda Cup and also parted a vital part for Uganda U20 team that reached the final of the U20 AFCON in Mauritania.
The winner will be revealed on Saturday, 4th December at Speke Resort Munyonyo in an award ceremony.
