2024 Fresh Diary Games: Heavy goal-pour on day one in Ndejje as St Noa shines

The 2024 Fresh Dairy National Girls Football Championship Games kicked off with a number of matches on Saturday in Ndejje .

Fixtures were played on different grounds among which is Ndejje SS (the hosts) ground, Ndejje University, Bombo UMEA, Kawagala, Nandere, Kakute and Namayamba and Janan SS depending on which group.

2023 first runners up St Noa Girls School rose high in their first group H encounter running rampant against Kangole Girls SS from Karamoja with 7-0 scoreline. 

Hatrick hero Sylvia Kabene and Kamiyat Naigaga who was on a brace were the girls of the moment with the additional goal scorers on the day being Ayuvi Mary and Evelyn Katusiime.

On the otherside FUFA Women Super League golden boot candidate Agnes Nabukenya was also a hattrick hero as Kawempe Muslim SS thrushed St Mary’s Magdalene from Lango  5-0.

Shadia Nabirye and Babirye Hadija were the other people who complimented the score with two more goals.

The defending champions and Group A occupants Amus College put nine (9) past.  Hope SS Bbira (9-1) just like Boni Concil Girls Vocational School beat Moroto School 9-0.

For Rines SS, they beat Jinja SS 4-0 as Uganda Martyrs High School humbled Latifah Mixed from Mukono. 

Group stage games will continue to be played until Tuesday 30th April next before knockout stages starts.
