I &M continued to thrive through the ranks at the Corporate Sports Network Fifth/ July Outing which was once again held at the MUBS play ground on Sunday 29th July 2024.
Despite not having the best of outings in June it was time to sit back and reflect so that there can be improvement in the July performance.
Fortunately, it all went as planned as I&M collected a draw against Stanbic Bank and win against Harris International in the morning with very impressive performances in Football.

While in Netball, the ladies managed to advance into the last 16 with absolute dominant performances.
Talking to I&M bank Captain Sadam Kiryemye, he affirmed that they didn’t come just to compete but win;

“Today so far has been a successful outing so far first we drew against Stanbic bank and later won against Hariss International, both were very physical but I believe we prepared well.” he said
Adding that; “Am proud of the boys, because they have put in their all. In the discipline of Basketball we are still competing well just like in Netball where we have advanced into the round 16.”
“So overall it’s a good performance we are collecting those points.”
“We would like to thank the management of I&M bank management for making it possible that we are here, we don’t take this for granted because we come here, have fun and make friends that later on benefit the bank.”
“When we started the League we sat down and agreed that we are not here to compete but to win. As I speak we are in the 7th position but I think we can do more to move to the 1st across all sports disciplines.”
“This comes down to our values that we believe in; trust, respect and behaviors of collaborating with each other so that we raise the I&M flag high” Kiremye concluded
I&M bank will be back in action at the next Corporate outing on Sunday 25th August 2024
