The search for Fahad Bayo’s successor seems to have reached a fever pitch with the club having zeroed down on Congolese forward Cesar Lobi Manzoki.
From rumors linking Cranes international strikers, Joel Madondo and Yunus Ssentamu and Burundian striker Cedriq “Titi” Mavugo to the venoms, the Kitende side last week agreed a 2 year deal with the 24-year-old former TP Mazembe and AS Vita striker.
“I am so happy to be here, my dream is to become an important player for Vipers,” said Mazonki whose career started in DRC with Dauphin Noir de Goma in 2012.
“I hope to push my career further with my new team and win some trophies.” He added.
Loki Manzoki scored 12 goals in 21 appearances for TP Mazembe and 38 goals in 58 appearances for AS Club Vita between 2016 and now to add to his 5 years experience in Goma.
