Uganda Premier League side URA FC have completed the signing of winger Muhammad Kyeyune from Entebbe UPPC FC, making him the club’s first acquisition ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Kyeyune has signed a three-year contract with the Tax Collectors after an impressive campaign at Entebbe UPPC, where he contributed two goals and three assists during the 2025/26 season.
Speaking after sealing the move, the exciting winger expressed his delight at joining URA FC and vowed to repay the club’s faith with strong performances.
“I am very happy and grateful to join URA FC. It is a dream come true to be part of this great club, and I am ready to work hard, give my best every day and help the team achieve its goals. Whenever I am given an opportunity, I want to prove myself on the pitch and show what I can bring to the team,” Kyeyune said.
The left-footed attacker is renowned for his pace, creativity and ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations. Although naturally a left winger, he is equally comfortable playing on the right flank or in the number 10 role.
Kyeyune arrives at URA with experience from both Uganda and Rwanda. Before joining Entebbe UPPC, he spent two seasons at Muhazi United in Rwanda, scoring nine goals and registering eight assists between 2023 and 2025.
His football journey began at the KCCA Soccer Academy before earning senior spells with Maroons FC, Soltilo Bright Stars, Muhazi United and Entebbe UPPC.
The winger becomes the first signing under newly appointed head coach Jimmy Kintu as URA FC continue strengthening their squad ahead of the new Uganda Premier League season.
