Rashid Okocha late goal secured NEC FC ‘s perfect start by handing the Lugogo based side maximum points on Tuesday evening at the Philip Omondi stadium.
NEC managed to edge UPDF FC 1-0 under the flood lights with a powerful strike that sank the visitors to their first defeat of the campaign.
Okocha netted his four(4) minutes left to the 90 after a good ball acute strike from the left flank to the net.
This was the third consecutive victory for NEC in the 2024/25 season, pushing them to 9 points to strengthen their lead on top of the table standings.
