The Uganda Men’s Football National Team, the Uganda Cranes have been unmoved in the latest FIFA World Rankings released on December 22.
The Cranes remain in 89th place, a position they were placed into in the last rankings on October 6th when the last rankings were released.
Being static was inevitable as Uganda never took part in the recently concluded FIFA World Cup held in Qatar. The Cranes have also been out of competitive action for the last couple of months since their Africa Nations Championship qualifiers against Tanzania.
Amongst the African countries,Uganda also remains 18th and is the the best ranked in CECAFA region followed by Kenya (101)
Morocco, semi-finalists at the 2022 FIFA World Cup move 12 places up in the Standings and are now 11th in the World – making them Africa’s best ranked nation.
After wining the World Cup, Argentina moves second in the world behind Brazil who remain the top of the World.
Croatia are the biggest climbers in top 10 as they move from 12th to seventh.
