Uganda Boxing Champions League: Ukasha threatens to expose Kawooya


Week 14 of the Uganda Boxing Champions League will return this Saturday 4th November at the NCS Arena in Lugogo as fans favorite Matovu Ukasha faces Kawooya Mohammed.

Ukasha who comes from COBAP Boxing Club has been out with an injury that didn’t permit his presence in the recent Olympics qualifiers in Senegal is set to comeback with huge determination.

In an interview just after the weigh in on Friday at the Sideline bar and restaurant in Lugogo, Ukasha labeled his opponent as a fan;

“I have many Challengers, when I get into my business side I become more clear than ever.”

“ I would like to show you tomorrow that some people have to play boxing and others like my opponent have to just be fans.”

In Ukasha’s last fight of this season two, he boxed Sande Simon to 5-0 unanimous decision by the different judges.

On the other side, his opponent on the day Kawooya Mohammed Ali famously known as Champion Malala from Sparks Boxing Club oozed confidence going on to say;

“I am ready for tomorrow, have prepared well for the fight and I except to win as I always my sickness can make me stronger let’s just wait for the action”

In a heart of promoting boxing in the teenagers (youth), week 14 will also present the masses with an exciting fight between Kololo’s Nerrick Tumusiime and Reagan Magumba of Lukanga Boxing Club.
