This weekend, cricket enthusiasts are in for a treat as bottom placed Africa Cricket Club faces off against Patidar Cricket Club in a Division One clash.

The match is scheduled to take place at the iconic Lugogo Cricket Oval on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

As the teams gear up for this encounter, the statistics paint a clear picture. Africa Cricket Club has had a challenging season, failing to secure a single win in their Division One campaign.

They have managed to salvage only one draw and suffered defeat in five out of the six matches played so far.

On the other side, Patidar Cricket Club has accumulated four points from their six matches, with two wins and four losses to their name.

Their standout performance includes a memorable defense of 88 runs against Wanderers Cricket Club.

Looking at the squads, it may appear that the odds are in favor of Africa Cricket Club. However, their season’s performance hasn’t been stellar, making it difficult to predict a victory for them on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Aziz Daman Development Cricket Club, the current leaders in Division One, will be on a break this weekend.

In other fixtures, Division Two will see Tornado Cricket Club striving to keep their hopes of Division One qualification alive. They will go head-to-head with Rounders Cricket Club on November 4, 2023, at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Tornado CC aims to build on their recent victory against Soroti City Cricket Club.

Tornado CC has suffered only one loss this season to Tornado Bees Cricket Club, which unfortunately dashed their Division Two title hopes. However, the possibility of Division One qualification remains a driving force.

In another Division Two fixture, Jinja SS Cricket Club will square off against the bottom-placed Soroti City Cricket Club at Jinja SS Cricket Oval on tomorrow November 4, 2023.

In their previous encounters, Soroti City CC lost to Tornado CC by 59 runs, while Jinja SS secured a convincing six-wicket victory when they hosted SKLPS.

Jinja Association of Cricket Clubs (JACC) will also host SKLPS in another Division Two clash on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Jinja SS Oval.

Both teams are eager to bounce back after suffering defeats last weekend, with JACC losing to Premier Cricket Club and SKLPS falling to Strickers Cricket Club.
